Tampa Family Lifestyle Session | Downtown Tampa and Curtis Hixon Park

At the end of this 2 hour family photo session the kids were not only still in a good mood, but they were asking to keep going! We met in downtown and adventured around with the goal of ending at Curtis Hixon Park. We played games, made up silly jokes, and there was running, hugs and twirling. And at the end (after we used soo many different backgrounds) we came across the coolest bus that had just been painted by children - it is called the Nomad Art Bus

If you look at a family session a few posts ago also in downtown Tampa you will see a huge variation! That means that your family photo session will be totally unique to you!

I hope you scroll through all of these amazing memories we made during our family adventure photo session!  Contact me if you are interested in your own family session!

Wow, that was a lot of images included in their Tampa family photo session. We had so much fun, the kids were full of positive energy and mom and dad were so much fun!!

St. Petersburg Smiles | Coffee Pot Bayou

For this family session we had beautiful sun and so many smiles! (Scroll and keep scrolling for so many lifestyle family pictures!) Grandparents came along and I loved including them in a few of the images. While the baby needed a bottle, Dad and older brother played a bit of Frisbee.  I'm finding more and more beautiful photography locations around St. Pete. This was at Coffee Pot Bayou - and I loved loved all the flowers!! It is so close to Tampa that I think I'm going to start bringing Tampa families over the Gandy bridge for their family photography sessions!! I've been working with this family when Tara was pregnant with her oldest son! I love watching her family expand and the boys grow like weeds!!

Beauty Revived - Welcoming Refugees {Tampa Family Photographer}

After being chosen to select, photograph and honor a local child that exemplifies real beauty I immediately had a young girl in mind.

I attended a meeting to learn more about the refugee resettlement program in the Tampa area and listened to two amazing women speak. In addition to her full time job with the State of Florida, Florence also runs a all volunteer program called the Refugee and Migrant Women Initiative. This volunteer program is priceless for refugees arriving in Tampa. Florence also explained that her 12 year old daughter wanted to help (her own father is a refugee) so she came up with her own initiative to help refugee children arriving in Tampa. I was amazed, inspired and knew she was just the young woman to honor as she displays true beauty.

Please see the entire article about her initiative called "If your shoes could talk". And please enjoy the images of this beautiful and inspirational family.
