Downtown Tampa | Together Exploring

This beautiful family and I took advantage of it all the wonderful things downtown Tampa has to offer one morning during our family photo shoot. This truly was an adventure family session! We began at one of the hotels and walked a handful of blocks which offered so many textures and shooting opportunities.  In downtown Tampa there are interesting walls around every corner, nearby parks, and gorgeous light. Keep on scrolling and scrolling, we had so much fun on our family photo shoot I sent them a so many images!

Beauty Revived - Welcoming Refugees {Tampa Family Photographer}

After being chosen to select, photograph and honor a local child that exemplifies real beauty I immediately had a young girl in mind. 

I attended a meeting to learn more about the refugee resettlement program in the Tampa area and listened to two amazing women speak. In addition to her full time job with the State of Florida, Florence also runs a all volunteer program called the Refugee and Migrant Women Initiative. This volunteer program is priceless for refugees arriving in Tampa. Florence also explained that her 12 year old daughter wanted to help (her own father is a refugee) so she came up with her own initiative to help refugee children arriving in Tampa. I was amazed, inspired and knew she was just the young woman to honor as she displays true beauty.

Park + Cookies = Magic. The story starts in a Tampa park but always ends at home. {Tampa outdoor and in-home photographer}

"It's that time of year" is always an email subject I love to read from a returning family photo session client! We did a two part session - first at a local park and then headed to their house to bake some cookies. (And Noah even drank straight from the milk carton like he likes to do!!) Last year we met at a local beach to celebrate Ellie turning one! The ride in between was super fun because the two older kids asked to ride with me! I love multi-location family photo sessions around Tampa or St. Pete - keeps us moving and the kids excited and happy - so don't be afraid to ask me for this type of session!

Creative Barre Business Shoot {Tampa Florida - Not So Corporate Headshots}

Barre Fitness provides classes to many women in the South Tampa area and helping Denise with some creative and unique business images (definitely "not so corporate") was such a fun experience. Below you can see we did some outdoor headshots as well as some images of the instructors in different barre movements.
