For this family session we had beautiful sun and so many smiles! (Scroll and keep scrolling for so many lifestyle family pictures!) Grandparents came along and I loved including them in a few of the images. While the baby needed a bottle, Dad and older brother played a bit of Frisbee. I'm finding more and more beautiful photography locations around St. Pete. This was at Coffee Pot Bayou - and I loved loved all the flowers!! It is so close to Tampa that I think I'm going to start bringing Tampa families over the Gandy bridge for their family photography sessions!! I've been working with this family when Tara was pregnant with her oldest son! I love watching her family expand and the boys grow like weeds!!
Capturing It All - Tampa Extended Family Photoshoot {Family Photography at Curtis Hixon}
Having my friend since 6th grade ask me to do their extended family shoot made me so happy, excited and thankful! We picked Curtis Hixon as I wanted a variety of backgrounds and room for the 7 kids to run around and play.
The family wanted some more traditional group shots, so we accomplished those first while incorporating a few fun games for the kids. Keep on scrolling down for much more and see how they relaxed and we created all of these images in 90 minutes....
I made sure to take some images of each nuclear family and just love the variety I got in such a short time!
I love this set of images showing the family a little more relaxed with Grandma and Grandpa and enjoying their time together.
And of course we ended on the playground and capture the cousins having all the fun!! Extended family sessions with cousins always should include playing.
Adventuring Around Tampa {Tampa Family Photography}
A family of six has lots of interests and we hit upon many of them! We played street hockey, rode bikes and scooters, shared sodas, played football, laughed at the monkey in the middle during our Tampa Family Photography session. After all of that we made a dash to another Tampa park where we had the most beautiful golden light and an empty park (gasp!)! They kids offered up ideas (hide behind mom & dad, serious faces, jumping shots) and it was beyond fun for me...and when I received this comment from the mom it made my day!
"Let me just say, it IS fun!!!! Maggie, your talent to get children (and adults) to relax in front of the camera is amazing - only second to your talent behind the lens! Oh, and the kids think you are their new best friend too😁. So, yes, do it! You will not regret it!!!"
Florida Beach Vacations....Summer is coming. {St. Pete Beach Vacation Photographer}
Welcome to Florida! So many beaches, so little time! Even though I live in Florida, my favorite summer vacation is visiting one of our local beaches...Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, St. Pete Beach, Clearwater Beach, and so many more. Sometimes after school we explore new beaches for a few hours before quick showers, hurried homework and salty dreams.
