It was so fun to hang out with an old friend / co-worker and his family. I heard stories about these kids for years and it was incredible to see how grown-up and smart and kind they are. All of these images make me smile.

Sometimes I have to try different tricks with kids to encourage them to relax and have fun. For Nico it was letting him click my shutter. He would click, then take off running and be so very happy. I loved that they included their dog in the session. An added but fun challenge for me!
